Otto Hutt Design 04 - Matt Blue. By combining ruthenium coated hardware components with the matte blue barrel, the design04 models sport a beautiful contrast between matte and glossy.
With its special coloring, the metal adds a very special fascination: ruthenium has a silvery black sheen, while also picking up reflections from the environment. The writing instrument thus reflects the writing process, which marries thoughts and feelings from within with external influences.

As a contemporary of Walter Gropius, co-founder of Bauhaus, Otto Hutt was influenced by the then innovative design concepts of the Bauhaus. In keeping with this, his first products were pocket utensils such as smoker’s accessories, toothpicks and shaving sets in metal. It was not long before he extended his range to include writing instruments.
All Otto Hutt writing instruments are made entirely in Germany and combine meticulous craftsmanship with fine detail. The result is a range of highquality utensils which can proudly bear the seal "Made in Germany".
